Kingsway Junior School
A message from our Governors
Governors who attended the recent parents evening were very grateful to all who found time to fill in the Questionnaires that were handed out. We have now had time to analyse the results and are very pleased at the high level of satisfaction with what Kingsway Junior School is doing.
99.3% of parents agreed that their child is making good progress and that Kingsway expects their child to work hard, achieve their best and be independent.
Over 85% of parents agreed with statements such as ‘the school is well led and moving forward’, and ‘I would recommend Kingsway to a friend or family’.
A few parents (21%) were not sure about the role of the Governors so if you are one of those parents please read the notes on the next page which we trust will help with this.
There were also a few parents (9%) who did not think the amount of homework was right for their child. Ms Beale and Mrs Johnson will look into these few cases to see what can be done to help children who are struggling with homework.
A number of parents wrote very complimentary comments on the survey and we are delighted that you are so pleased with the school. Although it is often easy to grumble when things are not going well it is very important to let us know when things are good. Our staff work very hard and it is wonderful for them to receive praise.
