We understand that there are times when absence is unavoidable, such as when a child is genuinely ill. However, we know that even small amounts of absence can add up and impact on your child's learning and wellbeing.
We expect all pupils to achieve at least 96% attendance throughout the year. This means missing no more than approximately 7 days across the whole academic year.
Good attendance is 96% or above
Concerning attendance is below 95%
Persistent absence is below 90% (missing 19 days or more per year)
