At Kingsway Junior School, our curriculum is ambitious, broad and carefully sequenced to ensure that every child develops the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to achieve success both now and in the future. Rooted in the National Curriculum, it has been thoughtfully designed to meet the needs, experiences and aspirations of our pupils, building progressively on what they already know and can do. Alongside academic achievement, our curriculum nurtures curiosity, resilience, creativity and critical thinking, preparing children for the next stage of their education and life beyond school.
We work in close partnership with Kingsway Infant School to ensure a shared vision for curriculum design, teaching and assessment across the primary phase. This collaboration provides a seamless transition from the Early Years and Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2, ensuring consistency, continuity and clear progression so that learning builds cumulatively and every pupil is well prepared for future learning.
