Welcome to Year 5 at Kingsway Junior

Year 5 is an exciting stage in your child’s journey at Kingsway Junior. It is a year of growing independence, where pupils build on their learning and begin preparing for the challenges of Year 6. We set high expectations and high ambitions, encouraging every child to aim high, work hard and take pride in their progress.

Year 5 is all about deepening knowledge, building confidence, and laying the foundations for success in Year 6. We have two classes in Year 5—Knights and Archers—and together we work closely to ensure that every child is fully supported to thrive.
