Pupil Premium is a payment made to schools by the Government. It makes up part of the school’s funding, is received into our budget and is made available for use throughout the whole school. Schools are free to decide how to allocate this funding to best support the raising of attainment for the most vulnerable pupils.

At Kingsway Junior School we use our pupil premium funding in a range of ways.

As per DFE guidance, please see our strategy for how we target our funds using the key elements from the EEF (Education Endowment Foundation) to ensure that the Pupil Premium pupils get the best education and maximise their learning opportunities to ‘narrow the gap.’
