Welcome to Year 3 at Kingsway Junior

Year 3 marks an exciting first step in your child’s journey through Kingsway Junior. It is a year of transition from infant school, where pupils adjust to new routines, greater independence, and a broader range of learning opportunities. We set high expectations and high ambitions, encouraging every child to aim high, work hard, and take pride in their achievements.

Year 3 is about adapting to the junior school environment, building confidence, and developing a love of learning. We have two classes in Year 3 known as Castle class and Palace class, and together we work closely to ensure that every child is fully supported to thrive.
