At Kingsway Junior School, we use both Purple Mash and google classroom. We have a progressive programme of study, which can be accessed both at school and at home, to consolidate our children’s learning.
The three strands of computing (digital literacy, information technology and computer science) are covered in our provision and all children are given the opportunity to learn new skills and continue to progress.
Our children are taught a wide range of skills, including coding, debugging apps, creating spreadsheets and animations.
Safe use of the internet underpins our learning in computing. We discuss the importance of e-safety across all the year groups and remind children of their rights and responsibilities. Children are reminded of appropriate conduct online and what they must do in order to stay safe.
