As part of our History and Art study of WW1 Year 6 made poppy Art.
Year 6 used their tonal skills and abilities to create studies of a Trench Art jug.
Year 6 experiments with media and techniques. They used charcoals, pens and pencils. Whilst drawing against time limits, not taking their pen off and creating line studies.
Year 6 analysed propaganda posters from the war eras.
Following on from studying propaganda Art, year 6 created their own contemporary artworks. They had class discussions about current political issues and what we thought needed to improve.
